Offensive Security Validation

Find out whether your defences actually stop an attack — every week, not just on pentest day.

We continuously simulate the techniques real adversaries use against your environment and measure what your controls block, detect, and let through. You get the gaps prioritized by impact, the guidance to fix them, and the revalidation that proves the fix worked.

The problem

Your pentest says how you were. Not how you are.

EDR rules change, systems go live, policies get relaxed to “fix it fast”. Between one point-in-time assessment and the next, your security posture shifts — and nobody measures it.

Point-in-time assessment

  • —A snapshot, once or twice a year
  • —A long report, with no proof the fix worked
  • —Does not keep up with new attack techniques
  • —Hard to show progress to the board

UPX continuous validation

  • Recurring, automated tests run by specialists
  • Every fix is revalidated with the same attack scenario
  • Scenarios updated with known and emerging TTPs
  • Trend metrics at executive level

How it works

From attack scenario to proven fix.

  1. 01

    Scope and threat profile

We map the environment, the existing controls, and the adversaries most likely to target your industry.

  2. 02

    Attack simulation

We safely execute the techniques (TTPs) used by real groups, mapped to MITRE ATT&CK.

  3. 03

    Control measurement

For every technique we check: was it blocked, was it detected, did it raise an alert — or did it pass in silence?

  4. 04

    Fix and revalidation

We deliver remediation prioritized by impact and re-run the scenario to prove the gap is closed.

Validation cycle

What goes in, what the simulation does and what comes out

A continuous cycle: every closed gap becomes a revalidation scenario, and the next round starts from a better-known posture.

Executive report

Posture trend and risk reduction, in board-level language.

Technical report

Evidence for each technique, the control involved, and the observed behaviour.

Remediation plan

Actionable steps, prioritized by simulated impact.

Revalidation

The same scenario run again to confirm the fix worked.

Metrics

Security you can measure and report.

The metrics tracked on every validation cycle.

Do my controls work?

Control effectiveness

Share of techniques blocked and detected, per control and over time.

How long does a gap stay open?

Critical gaps and MTTR

How many critical gaps exist and how long they take to fix.

Where would an attacker get in?

Attack path

Visibility into which sequences of techniques reach critical assets.

Is the investment paying off?

Security ROI

Which tools deliver real protection and where there is redundancy.

Connected to the UPX operation

We do not stop at the report.

The gaps found feed the operation: detection rules get tuned, incident response gets faster, and certified professionals back it 24/7.

FAQ

Before we talk

  • How is this different from a pentest?

A pentest is a point-in-time assessment, run by specialists within a time window. Offensive validation is continuous: it repeatedly measures whether controls detect and block attack techniques, and revalidates every fix. The two complement each other.
  • Are the simulations safe to run in production?

Techniques are executed in a controlled way, with no destructive payload. Scope and execution windows are agreed with your team before each cycle.
  • Does it work with the security tools I already use?

Yes. The whole point is to measure the effectiveness of the controls you already have — the integrations that apply to your environment are confirmed before go-live.
